Highlights

Direct pickup at the cruise terminal in Bastia. On board learn about Corsican History and Culture We head up north to the Cap Corse and visit the little village of Erbalunga with its little port, its nice mansion houses and famous Genoese tower. Enroute to the vineyards of Patrimonio, we will stop at a dazzling panoramic area that embrace the entire region. You will be given plenty of informations about the local Terroir, grapes and Appellation. Enjoy a complimentary aperitif with local sparkling wine and soft drinks paired with local snacks directly in a scenic vine plot nestled in the heart of the wine country. You will have lunch in the small town of St Florent in a restaurant , directly on the pier and the marina. (Lunch is non included, expect 20-30 euros/pax) You will have some time to visit the town of St Florent the “little St Tropez of Corsica” with its boutiques, little square, citadelle and typical streets. Enjoy a wine tasting at a famous winery under the Patrimonio Appelation. There you will taste around 8 pours of wine in red, white, rosé and of course the famous muscat (sweet wine). Back in Bastia, you will be dropped directly at the cruise terminal.

We had a wonderful half-day with Dominique, made a perfect day in port on our cruise! Wonderful knowledge, friendly, amazing vistas and lots of fun to learn all about Patrimonio wines plus a little Corsican history. We enjoyed the tour and tastings very much and also appreciated not having to be the driver on the dramatic roads - better views and less hassle for us!
