What makes Corsica Wine Tours different?

Every tour is exclusively private: You’ll never share the experience with strangers. Your guide, Dominique, is a bilingual Corsican native with deep connections to local winemakers, giving you behind-the-scenes access that no group tour can offer.

Do I need to know about wine to enjoy the tours?

Not at all. Our guide calibrates every tasting to your level; From absolute beginners to experienced collectors. Many guests tell us it was their first real wine experience, and one of the highlights of their trip.

Where do the tours depart from?

We offer door-to-door service from most accommodations in Bastia, Saint-Florent, Calvi, Île Rousse, Porto-Vecchio, and Bonifacio. If you’re arriving by cruise ship, we can also arrange port pick-up.

How long are the tours?

We offer both half-day (approximately 3 hours) and full-day tours (approximately 7 hours including lunch). We do offer bespoke tours from a couple of hours to several days.

Are the tours conducted in English?

Yes, all tours are guided in English by a bilingual native Corsican. French is also available if preferred.

How much does a tour cost?

Prices are per group (2 to 6 guests), not per person. You’ll find them on each tour page.

Can you accommodate dietary requirements or requests?

Absolutely. Please mention any dietary needs or special interests when booking and we’ll tailor the experience accordingly

Amazing wine tasting trip with Dominque. We were picked up promptly at our hotel St Florent and taken on a journey not just of the wine but the country itself. We have been on many wine/vineyard tours all over the world but this was definitely the best in terms of knowledge, quality and detail about the wines, how they are grown and how the different topography effects the wine, which we were able to taste during the tastings. From the moment we first contacted Dominque to post excursion, this experience was amazing. Dominque picked us up in Calvi. His English is impeccable and his knowledge of the Corsican wines, and history is superb. His passion for his country is refreshing. In addition to two interesting wine visits, Dominque took us to Chez Leon, a special restaurant in the small village of Casteri for a traditional Corsican lunch experience.  Verified Highlight of our trip to Corsica
I really can't say enough wonderful things about Dominique and our time spent on his tour. If you enjoy wine and also want to learn about Corsica, book a tour with him immediately. He set up three wonderful tastings for us in the Patrimonio AOC (made even better because we went off-peak travel season where not much is open in general, but it was never an issue). In addition to learning all about wine, we also learned quite a great deal about Corsica too - which was wonderful as we really knew next to nothing about the island. It was truly such a special day and if we are ever back in Corsica, I won't hesitate to book another tour in an another region.

We had a fantastic time on Dominique’s tour. He had incredible knowledge of both Corsican wine and culture. As wine beginners, we were made to feel very comfortable and able to ask lots of questions. Our family of four (including 18 and 20-yo daughters) had such a wonderful experience on our Corsica Wine Tour. We did the Cap Corse wine tour and Dominique customized the tour to include an extra stop at a Patrimonio winery. His experience living in multiple foreign countries (USA, England, Japan) really lends itself to connecting others to the unique culture and landscape of his home country, Corsica. Dominique was an extremely knowledgeable, friendly and courteous host. He took us on an afternoon tour to visit two different wineries, and told us a huge amount about the history of Corsica on the way. Corsica Wine Tours organised two full-day wine tours, into the Patrimonio and Cap Corse wine areas of Corsica. The tours and tastings provided an insight into local wine making and production, as well as historical and geographic context which enriched our trip to Corsica. For our outings in particular, Dominique kindly customised the tours to include specific producers (upon prior arrangement) and ensured the availability of vegan food options throughout both days.
