Hello, I’m Dominique, a bilingual guide and Corsican native, offering private, exclusive wine tours in Corsica.

Growing up in South Corsica, I had the privilege of traveling the world and living in cities like Los Angeles, London, and Tokyo, where I worked in marketing for the entertainment Industry.

As I was exploring my native island and meeting my fellow Corsicans I couldn’t help but wonder how Corsica was worth discovering and yet, how many visitors were missing a lot of its real essence.

I created Corsica Wine Tours because I wanted my guests to enjoy an authentic Corsica experience coupled with the stellar customer service you expect while on vacation.

As I spend many years as a foreign visitor, I truly understand the value of insider tips and local knowledge. I can not be thankful enough to my Japanese friends who helped me navigate around Tokyo and experience an off the beaten tracks Japan in a way that would not have been possible otherwise.

He picked us up at our hotel, with all of our bags, and dropped us off at an AirBnb. He was incredibly flexible. Our Wine Tours and Experiences are available all year round.

Some tours may not be available in Winter, please contact us for specific availability.

Availability may change due to French holidays and unexpected events.

Where do you operate the tours/ Where do the tours depart from?

Our Wine Tours and Experiences are available all around Corsican vineyards.

Departures are from Bastia, the Cap Corse, St Florent, Calvi, Ile Rousse, Porto Vecchio and Bonifacio areas.

If you’re arriving by cruise ship, we can also arrange port pick-up in Bastia, St Florent, Calvi and Bonifacio.

Custom designed tours are available for departure anywhere in Corsica

Is there more to the Wine tour than Wine?

In our Wine Tours and Experiences around Corsica, you will embark on a journey around Corsican Wines.

Some tours also features local food specialties tastings.

Our Tours are also a great way to discover Corsican landmarks, sightseeing places and to learn about Corsican History and Culture.

Do I need to know about wine to enjoy the tours?

Not at all. Our guide calibrates every tasting to your level; From absolute beginners to experienced collectors. Many guests tell us it was their first real wine experience, and one of the highlights of their trip.

How long are the tours?

We offer both half-day (approximately 4 hours) and full-day tours (approximately 7–8 hours including lunch).

Specific demands regarding duration, hours or multiple-day tours are possible under Bespoke tours

Are the tours conducted in English?

Yes, all tours are guided in English by a bilingual native Corsican. French is also available if preferred.

How can I pay for my Tour?

We do accept cash in euros or major credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) or Apple Pay.

Groups can split payment amongst party

For Individual prepaid preferred rate, payments is through a credit/debit card secured link

What form of payment do you accept for professionals?

We will send our professional partners an invoice with a secured link to pay by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) or by bank transfer.

Cancellation policies in case of an advance payment?

Our policy which applies for cancellations and in case of changes in the initial booking, is outlined below :

Individual regular rate:

Free cancellation anytime prior the tour – Changes are permitted (subject to availability)

Individual prepaid preferred rate

No refundable, yet one change permitted at least 30 days prior the tour (subject to availability). Please note that cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances beyond your/our control (force majeure) will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Professional partners:

Cancellation by the Client: 95% Refund: refunds are given when cancellations are made at least a week (7 days) prior to the date of service. We just charge 5% to cover the bank and refund fees. No Refund: We are unable to give refunds for reservations that are cancelled less than a week (7 days) prior to the date of service or in case of no-show.

Cancellation by Corsica Wine Tours: 100% Refund will be given when service is cancelled by Corsica Wine Tours.

Any other cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances beyond your/our control (force majeure) will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

How many people can joint?

Our tours are for small groups of 2 to 6 persons

What about Children?

As we offer an experience including visits and tastings in wineries, our wine tours are not suited to people under 14 years old and tastings are allowed only to people above 18 years old.

What about bad Weather?

Tastings and most of the visits are indoor and we can provide umbrellas in case of occasional rain.

Nevertheless, in case of exceptional weather conditions, the tours will be cancelled and all passengers will be refunded and/or moved the day of their choice for another tour.

What about Smoking?

It is forbidden to smoke aboard the vehicle as well as in the wineries, tasting accommodations, restaurants, museums, some outdoor places of interest and in the vines.

What are your Insurances?

Corsica Wine Tours has an insurance covering transportation and liability responsibility according to its activity.

Corsica Wine Tours will take no responsibility for lost or stolen property in and out the vehicle.
